  • Taher Abdeen Ibrahim is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team in Dubai. He specialises in civil, real estate, criminal, military, employment, and commercial matters and primarily engages in corporate enforcement work and the enforcement of foreign judgments. Taher is also able to assist his clients with Dubai Land Department Transactions. 

    Taher acts for a range of local and international corporations as well as UAE government entities. Clients know him for his vast knowledge of the court systems within the country as he is licensed to appear before The Dubai Court of First Instance, The Dubai Court of Appeals, The Dubai Court of Cassation, The UAE Federal Court of First Instance, The UAE Federal Court of Appeal, and The UAE Military Court. Taher has a right to be by his clients throughout the police station investigations and the public prosecution investigations. 

    He has a Law degree from the United Arab Emirates University with honors.

    • Advised a client in the construction industry in relation to a full case strategy regarding a shareholder dispute with the frozen dividends amounting to AED 9m.
    • Represented a client in the chemicals industry in an employment case to receive his employment dues, which amounted to AED 5m.
    • Represented a construction entity which was accused of bribery amounting to AED 63m.
    • Advised a conglomerate in a multi-jurisdiction shareholder dispute (6 countries).
    • Represented an entity in a money laundering case, which amounted to USD 4bn.
    • Represented a HVAC company in a money laundering case, which amounted to AED 16m.
    • Represented an entity in a rental dispute, wherein the compensation amount was AED 11m.
