Mohamed is a dispute resolution lawyer who specializes in International Arbitration and Litigation before local courts in UAE, Egypt, Qatar and Bahrain, with a focus on Construction and Oil & Gas matters.
With over 10 years of experience, Mohamed has worked on large-value, complex arbitrations and litigations, with an emphasis on construction, oil and gas, energy, aviation, investment, agency and distributorship disputes. He has handled cases under the rules of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes, the International Chamber of Commerce, the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, and the Dubai International Arbitration Centre. Mohamed comes with significant experience in handling contentious and non-contentious matters under various jurisdictions including UAE, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Libya.
Prior to joining Hadef & Partners, he practiced with an international law firm in Dubai, and leading law firms in Cairo, that specialized in handling dispute resolution and construction matters across the MENA Region and GCC. He also worked as an in-house Legal Counsel at a prominent holding company in Abu Dhabi, which is holding/managing diversified investments (inside UAE and abroad) in different sectors including construction, F&B, agriculture, aviation, healthcare, technology, IT solutions, education, and hospitality.
Mohamed has a Bachelor of Laws from Cairo University (English Department), and a Post Graduate Certificate in Laws from University of London. He is also a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
