Ziad is a Partner in our Dispute Resolution department. He has 22 years of extensive experience in handling major complex litigation and arbitration issues and regularly provides legal advisory and consultation services for various local and international clients.

Ziad has developed expertise in various aspects of the law with a primary focus on commercial disputes such as commercial agencies, construction, insurance, corporate disputes, real estate, and employment disputes.

Ziad has been involved in proceedings in Jordan and the UAE. He has handled many litigation cases and provides legal advice and consultation for various leading clients including government bodies.

Prior to joining Hadef & Partners, Ziad practised in Amman, Jordan, where he was head of the commercial litigation practice. Ziad gained valuable experience, knowledge and cultural familiarity representing a broad spectrum of clients from various regions and industries, including insurance, aviation, tourism, and construction.

Ziad is fluent in Arabic & English.

• Advising a leading telecommunication company in the UAE in relation to a case filed by one of its former employees in order to claim SAR129 million and an unspecified amount against any amounts that he may be ordered to pay to the shareholders of a leading telecommunication company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Advising a leading healthcare group in respect of an EOT compensation dispute with the main contractor.
• Defending a client against a labor claim based on a fictitious employment contract from a branch of a foreign company.
• Defending a leading healthcare group in an Ad Hoc arbitration in respect of a claim of AED65 million.
• Representing a client in a winding-up case against a construction company and the other shareholder resulting of a long standing litigation dispute between the shareholders.
