Tyra is an Associate in the Tax department in Dubai. She advises clients on diverse range of corporate and commercial tax issues in the UAE.

She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto. She is admitted to the Bar of Ontario as Barrister-at-Law and as a Solicitor in the Court of Appeal of Ontario.

Prior to joining Hadef & Partners, Tyra worked in a tax litigation law firm in Toronto where she assisted corporations and high-net worth clients with their legal disputes in the Tax Court of Canada on litigation matters such as corporate tax and capital gains assessments, net worth audits, and offshore tax assets.

Tyra also worked as a tax consultant in a Big 4 tax firm in the UAE, advising multinational corporations in the Energy, Resources, and Industrial sectors navigate their indirect tax obligations on a variety of commercial transactions such as M&A’s, establishment of subsidiaries in the UAE, and other trade arrangements.
