  • Paul is a Partner in the corporate team in Dubai where he advises on a broad range of M&A, joint venture and private equity transactions for both domestic and international clients.

    Prior to joining Hadef & Partners, Paul trained with, and then worked in the corporate department of, leading Irish law firm Arthur Cox. Paul holds a Bachelor in Civil Law from University College Dublin and a Diploma in Finance Law from the Law Society of Ireland.

    • Advising Al Dobowi Industrial Rubber Services on its entry into a joint venture in the UAE, Oman and Qatar with Rema Tip Top to operate under the brand name Rema Tip Top Middle East.
    • Advising the shareholders of Pharmaceuticals FZ-LLC, a leading UAE pharmaceuticals manufacturer, on the sale of 100% of the share capital to ADQ.
    • Advising the shareholders of Al Ittihad Drug Store, a leading UAE pharmaceuticals distributor, on the sale of 100% of the share capital to Global One Healthcare Holding, a division of Yas Holding.
    • Advising the shareholders in Emircom, an information and communications technology provider, on the sale of a majority stake to International Holding Company for AED250 million.
    • Advising the shareholders of the Bayara group on the sale of an equity interest to Levant Capital.
    • Advising PSAV, a global leader in event experiences, on the acquisition of eclipse group, a leading audiovisual and live production and venue company which manages events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
    • Advising Siniora Food Industries (a Jordanian listed company) on its acquisition of Diamond Meat Processing.
    • Advising (in a local counsel capacity) Marlin Equity Partners on its acquisition of Marcura Group, a leading vertical software, data intelligence and payments platform for the maritime industry.
    • Advising the owners of a major retail business operating across the GCC with over 100 branches on the sale of their business to one of National Holding's key subsidiaries.
    • Advising (in a local counsel capacity) Access Group on its acquisition of Construction Industry Solutions (a leading construction management software and services company providing end-to-end business solutions to the contracting, home building and service management sectors, globally).
