  • Mohamed Omar is a paralegal in the Dispute Resolution department in Dubai.

    With over 19 years’ experience in Intellectual Property and Litigation in the UAE, he advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, with a particular focus on intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, copyright and IP enforcement. Mohamed supports clients across the full lifecycle of IP rights, from clearance and registration through to portfolio management and dispute resolution.

    Mohamed has extensive experience in trademark prosecution before UAE authorities, including pre-filing clearance, registration and ongoing portfolio management. He regularly assists clients with assignments, recordals, portfolio audits and due diligence projects, including for multinational corporations managing regional and international IP portfolios.

    On the contentious side, Mohamed has significant experience handling trademark oppositions and appeals, as well as supporting infringement proceedings before UAE courts and administrative authorities. He works closely with legal teams and advocates to develop and implement effective enforcement strategies.

    In addition to his IP practice, Mohamed has broad litigation experience across commercial, civil, labour and bankruptcy matters, as well as execution proceedings. He also advises on corporate matters, including contract drafting, company incorporation and regulatory procedures.
