Maham Siddiqui

  • Maham is a Paralegal in the Intellectual Property practice, based in the Dubai office. She completed her postgraduate LLM from King’s College London in 2024 and received a dual degree in B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from O.P. Jindal Global University in India in 2021.
     
    Maham focused on Intellectual Property Law and Technology during her LLM, and her LLM thesis addressed the legal impacts of interactions between intellectual property law and artificial intelligence. She has a keen interest in intellectual property law and the changes that new technologies will make in the framework and understanding of intellectual property.
     
    Maham has worked on both the contentious and non-contentious aspects of Intellectual Property law, including assisting with the complete life cycle of IP registrations from pre-clearance checks to filings, registrations, oppositions and appeals. She has also worked on intellectual property due diligence for multinational corporations, trademark cancellation actions against infringing marks, and domain name disputes and cancellation actions across multiple jurisdictions, including the UAE and China.
     
    Maham has completed internships with leading Indian law firms, including Khaitan & Co. and L&L Partners.
