Laryssa is a Senior Counsel in our Corporate team based in Abu Dhabi.
She is an Australian qualified solicitor with extensive experience in advising clients at all stages of the business cycle – from emerging startups to multinational corporations – across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate governance. With a commercial mindset and commitment to excellence, Laryssa strives to be a trusted advisor to clients.
She is a published author having been featured in one of Australia’s most cited legal journals, Australian Business Law Review, on business practice and commercial law in Australia and overseas, and in the Governance Institute of Australia’s Governance Directions journal. She has also contributed to the 2025 and 2026 editions of the UAE chapter of the Chambers & Partners Investing In Global Practice Guides. She was recently selected from more than 1200 research paper submissions across 90 countries to present at the 2025 International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Futures held in Abu Dhabi.
Laryssa has completed a Master of Laws (High Distinction) specialising in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce, each from Bond University in Australia.
