  • Laryssa is a Senior Counsel in our Corporate team based in Abu Dhabi.

    She is an Australian qualified solicitor with extensive experience in advising clients at all stages of the business cycle – from emerging startups to multinational corporations – across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate governance.  With a commercial mindset and commitment to excellence, Laryssa strives to be a trusted advisor to clients.

    She is a published author having been featured in one of Australia’s most cited legal journals, Australian Business Law Review, on business practice and commercial law in Australia and overseas, and in the Governance Institute of Australia’s Governance Directions journal. She has also contributed to the 2025 and 2026 editions of the UAE chapter of the Chambers & Partners Investing In Global Practice Guides. She was recently selected from more than 1200 research paper submissions across 90 countries to present at the 2025 International Conference on Advancing Sustainable Futures held in Abu Dhabi.

    Laryssa has completed a Master of Laws (High Distinction) specialising in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce, each from Bond University in Australia.

    • Advised on NMDC Energy PJSC’s initial public offering raising AED 3.22 billion (approximately USD 880 million) and ADX listing.
    • Advised on Multiply Group PJSC’s strategic acquisition of 100% of the shares in the 2PointZero group and a majority stake in Ghitha Holding PJSC, creating a combined total asset pool of more than AED 121 billion (approximately USD 33 billion).
    • Provided local counsel support to the lead counsel on Alpha Data PJSC’s initial public offering raising AED 600 million (approximately USD 163 million) and ADX listing.
    • Advised on a block trade in excess of AED 272 million (approximately USD 74 million) in a DFM listed entity.
    • Assisted negotiating a joint venture with a capital of up to USD 72 million to develop, construct, and operate certain agricultural projects in Egypt.
    • Advised on various multimillion USD funding agreements to support certain sustainability projects in Brazil and Indonesia.
    • Advised on the establishment of various single-family offices, foundations and investment funds in the Abu Dhabi Global Market.
    • Provided local counsel legal opinions to support listings on foreign stock exchanges and other investments.
    • Advised on benchmarking exercises undertaken by key capital market authorities in the region.
