  • David is a Senior Counsel in the Corporate practice at Hadef & Partners.

    David is a highly experienced commercial lawyer with over 30 years of experience, including structuring and establishing investment funds, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, private equity acquisitions and exits, art law and sports law. Before relocating to the UAE David was Global Head of Private Equity at a large international law firm. 

    He has served as an advisory board member of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA) and Loughborough Business School, a council member of the Legal and Regulatory Council of EMPEA, a member of the Legal & Technical Committee of the British Venture Capital Association (BVCA) and lectured at the BVCA. David is the Consulting Editor of Butterworths: “The Law and Practice of Shareholder Agreements”. 

    David studied law at Downing College, Cambridge University and is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.

    • Advising a Middle Eastern government entity on the construction of a world renowned universal museum and the acquisitions and commissions for its permanent collection and its loans.
    • Advising a Middle Eastern government entity on the construction of a world renowned modern and contemporary art museum and the acquisitions and commissions for its permanent collection and its loans.
