  • Anthony is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team in Dubai. Before joining Hadef & Partners, Anthony completed internships at several international law firms in London. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University, a Bachelor of Laws from the Queen Mary University of London, a Master of Laws from the University College of London, and a Master of Laws in conjunction with the Legal Practice Course from the University of Law.

    Anthony is admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Anthony is fluent in English, Arabic and French.

    • Acting on behalf of a prominent UAE healthcare investor concerning an AED 100 million claim in Abu Dhabi Onshore Courts arising from a contractual dispute.
    • Acting on behalf of a regional real-estate conglomerate in DIFC Court proceedings (governed by UAE Law) concerning a USD 6 million breach of contract claim.
    • Acting on behalf of a corporate service provider based in the UAE in an intricate DIFC-LCIA Arbitration involving a contractual dispute amounting to USD 27 million (governed by DIFC Law). 
    • Assisting a Sole Arbitrator in a complex DIAC Arbitration concerning an AED 8 million debt claim by drafting procedural and arbitral orders, terms of reference and several partial awards.
    • Acting on behalf of a healthcare investor from the UAE in an ongoing complicated DIAC Arbitration regarding a contractual dispute totaling USD 435 million (governed by UAE law).
    • Advising and assisting with the sale of a prominent structural engineering design company based in Dubai to a NASDAQ-listed corporation for USD 7.5 million. 
    • Advising and assisting with a shareholders’ agreement regarding a prominent AI company based in the ADGM.
    • Advising and assisting an NYSE-listed corporation with the sale of a prominent pharmaceutical and chemical company based in Dubai for USD 17 million.
