Ahmed is an Associate in our Dispute Resolution team in Abu Dhabi. He has 14 years of experience in handling various types of complex commercial and criminal disputes before the UAE Courts.
He advises clients on disputes arising out of defaults under facility agreements, enforcement of pledges, tenancy agreements and payment plan contracts. He has extensive experience of handling matters involving disputes between shareholders, enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards before various UAE Courts. This includes disputes involving nullification of arbitral awards and matters requiring enforcement of execution orders in relation to bounced cheques.
He also assists clients on various high value claims and matters involving bankruptcy and restructuring arrangements for UAE and international financial institutions. He has been representing clients on obtaining attachment orders and payment orders from the UAE Courts, in addition to handling multi-jurisdictional disputes for international and local clients involving fraud, breach of trust, asset tracing, asset recovery, and obtaining international arrest orders through the local Interpol office in Abu Dhabi.
Ahmed obtained his Bachelor of Law from Zagazig University and registered lawyer with the Egyptian bar association. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
