Hadef & Partners, a leading full-service law firm in the UAE, is pleased to announce its role as legal advisor to Grant Thornton Advisors LLC in its strategic unification with Grant Thornton UAE.

The transaction sees Grant Thornton UAE joining the multinational platform initially created earlier this year between Grant Thornton Advisors LLC and Grant Thornton Ireland. The platform, backed by an investor group led by New Mountain Capital, now comprises more than 13,000 professionals across almost 60 offices stretching from the Americas across Europe to the Middle East.

The Hadef & Partners team was led by Patrick Tweedale, Corporate partner, with Ahmad Sergieh, Head of Corporate in Dubai, leading on the accounting regulatory aspects of the transaction.

"We are delighted to have advised Grant Thornton Advisors LLC on this significant transaction that enhances their position in the professional services sector," said Patrick Tweedale. "This unification represents an important strategic step for our client, enabling them to expand their service offerings and global reach."
