University of Sharjah has published a joint research paper by Dr. Rami Omar, Partner - Dispute Resolution at Hadef & Partners, in the University of Sharjah Journal of Legal Sciences titled “Investor Protection at the Stage of Promoting an Investment Fund.”
The paper examines the legal protections available to investors during the promotion phase of investment funds under UAE regulatory frameworks, with a particular focus on the role of disclosure, transparency, and promoter obligations. It also explores the adequacy of existing legislative safeguards and offers recommendations to strengthen investor confidence and regulatory compliance in the investment funds sector.
