Hadef & Partners is once again pleased to support the 16th In-House Congress in Dubai. Organised by the In House Community Limited, the event will be held at The Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai on Wednesday 6 December, starting at 9.00am.
The event regularly attracts up to 300 delegates, primarily in-house lawyers from major international and regional corporates, financial institutions, governmental entities and regulatory bodies.
This day-long event starts with Opening Remarks by Rahul Prakash of In House Community Limited. Sadiq Jafar, Managing Partner of Hadef & Partners will be moderating the Opening Panel discussion on the subject ‘Optimal Performance of the In House Legal Department within the Organisation’. This panel will comprise leading General Counsel based in the UAE.
The Opening Panel will be followed by a series of workshops run by law firms.
This year, Hadef & Partners is leading two workshops where our teams will address:
- UAE Corporate Tax: Things to keep in mind as in-house counsel presented by Theunis Claassen, Head of Tax.
- Dispute Resolution: 10 things every In-House Lawyer should know presented by Walid Azzam, Partner and Omar Al Heloo, Partner.
Only members of the legal and compliance in-house community are invited to attend the In-House Congress Middle East, Dubai (for which there is no charge), and which includes networking breaks and lunch. The In-House Congress provides a very good opportunity for you to meet your peers as well as to listen and/or contribute to discussions regarding the evolution of the role of the in-house legal professional and the evolving legal environment of the UAE.
