Our real estate team has particular expertise in advising on development projects in the UAE and have advised a variety clients including funds, local and international developers, master developers, and financial institutions on a range of developments including master communities, sub communities, villa developments, mixed use projects and hospitality projects.

We advise clients on the full lifecycle of development projects from site acquisition, financing, sales to post-handover management.

Our team’s deep understanding and experience of the local market combined with strong relationships with regulatory authorities and understanding of prevailing policy and practice enable them to ably advise clients not just on the law but also best commercial practices for successful execution of development projects.

• Advised on the Hidd Al Saadiyat Development, a large villa complex developed on Al Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. The project comprises of approximately 300 high end luxury residential villas and our team drafted the entire suite of construction, sales and leasing related documentation for the project.
• Advised Aqua Real Estate Development LLC on its acquisition of three significant plots in Arjan, Motorcity and Sheikh Zayed Road. Subsequent to the plot acquisitions, we advised Aqua on a joint venture arrangement with 2 HNWIs and preparation of real estate development agreements and suite of sale documents to be entered into with third party unit purchasers. We also assisted Aqua in its registration of the projects with the regulatory authorities in Dubai.
• Advised a prominent Dubai based real estate developer on their villa community project in Jumeirah Park, Dubai. We prepared the entire suite of documentation for sales including marketing agreement, suite of documents to be entered into with third party purchasers and the resale process. 
• Conducted a peer review of the entire suite of sales documentation for a leading Dubai based developer for their luxury residential project in the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, comprising 24 multi-million dollar mansions and advised on the best market practices for development and sales of branded residences.
