• Running numerous cases being heard in the local courts system at all levels in relation to Main Contractor and Specialist Subcontractor claims in relation to late/non-payment, encashment of Bonds, delay and disruption claims.
• Successfully represented a Services Contractor in bringing injunction proceedings to prevent calls on its performance and advance payment bonds in the Dubai World Tribunal in The Dubai International Finance Centre by the developers of The Dubai World Islands.
• Successfully acted for a leading international service provider to the oil and gas industry in the Abu Dhabi Courts in relation to a substantial multi-million dirham dispute arising from the civil works pertaining to the expansion of an oil field in Abu Dhabi.
• Successfully advised an international consortium on issues and disputes arising out of the termination of an AED 4 billion main contract by Meydan LLC at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse Project. We successfully prevented a bond call by the joint venture contractor in Dubai court proceedings which subsequently reached a successful conclusion for our Clients in the Court of Cassation.
